Happy Saturday friends!
So grateful to share this sweet little tag flip album with you today. I’ve used my scraps from the July Tres Jolie Scrapbooking kit and lots of fun goodies from my stash. Now I realize that you may not have everything I used for this project but that’s okay! Think of this as inspiration. The Tres Jolie kits have everything you need to create many beautiful projects; I’m just presenting this to jumpstart your creativity and help you generate your own ideas. Everyone has different styles and preferences – feel free to take it all in and use similar elements from your own stash.
As I mentioned this project was created with scraps…beautiful scraps I might add! The base of the album are the five manila tags that were included in the July Cards, Tags, & More kit. I used my leftover flowers and pieces of vintage lace (that I seriously wanted to hoard!) from that kit as well. I also used one of the alcohol ink from the July Mixed Media kit. I didn’t have full sheets of paper in my scraps, so I fussy cut some elements from what I had leftover from the Scrapboys paper (Scrapbooking kit).
From my stash, I used seam binding, metallic keys, gesso, and a few mixed media elements – Prima Art Stones, and Finnabair metallic wax, glass beads, and glass glitter. I typed out my sentiments on my computer using a vintage typewriter font and sealed everything with Finnabair’s soft gel medium.
Because I had limited products I decided to make something with a lot of words, hence all the quotes, but you could also add photos instead. Think creatively about how to work with your scraps – I like fussy cutting and piecing little bits of paper together. If that’s not your thing then focus on creating other smaller projects like ATCs, fun envelopes, or handmade embellishments to use on other projects.
I’m all about self-care these days so my little tag flip contains quotes about loving yourself. The first quote: “True love is an inside job”
“Remind yourself that you cannot fail at being yourself”
“Loving yourself is the greatest revolution”
‘Be proud of who you are and not ashamed of how someone else sees you”
“You are allowed to be a masterpiece and a work in progress simultaneously”
Love these quotes! They remind us that we are beautiful just the way we are and to love ourselves for who we are NOW.

Thanks for visiting today.
xoxo,
Cris
